The application for the 2013 Balanced Man Scholarship is now closed!
Are you an upcoming freshman who believes in developing both your mind and body as a way to live a complete life? Are you looking for a scholarship that recognizes your achievements inside and outside of the classroom? Each year, the MA Eta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon offers a $1,000 Balanced Man Scholarship to recognize just that!
The BMS is awarded to two incoming freshmen, male or female, enrolled at Northeastern for the upcoming fall semester. This scholarship is awarded to applicants who well-represent the SigEp motto of “Sound mind, sound body”, and who display characteristics of “Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love” in correspondence with SigEp’s values. This includes those who exhibit academic excellence, demonstrate leadership skills, and commit to health and well-being.
Membership in the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity is not a requirement.
The deadline for application is October 31st. After this date, you will be notified if you are chosen for the next round of interviews
